It all started with a broken basketball hoop. One small repair in my neighborhood grew into a mission to fix what’s broken—so kids, families, and veterans can rise. As a disabled U.S. veteran, I’ve seen how small problems left unsolved can erase opportunity. What began with a single hoop has grown into programs that provide youth sports uniforms, fund scholarships, offer English language education, support homeless veterans, and deliver emergency relief anywhere it’s needed.  

We show up early, act fast, and leave things better than we found them—because every repaired problem is a chance for a new beginning. Your support turns simple acts into lasting change, helping communities rebuild hope, dignity, and opportunity. Together, we can repair what matters most, right where people live.

As a sponsor, you can select the cause you want to support. Early Edge Alliance works with people who assist vulnerable people in the US and Japan, specifically in the following areas.

Educational Scholarships

We help children in Japan access education and essential care. Support includes tuition assistance, meals, clothing, mentorship, English tutoring, and digital learning tools. Monthly wellness check-ins and life-skills training promote growth and integration, while legal aid ensures every child has proper identification and documentation.

Homeless Veteran Assistance

We provide safe shelter, meals, clothing, and hygiene supplies to homeless veterans in the US and Japan. Services include mental health counseling, help with VA benefits, job training, transportation to appointments, and case management support through trusted local partners to ensure long-term stability and independence.

English Language Education

We offer free English programs for underserved youth in Japan and the US, including tutoring, cultural exchange events, and literacy workshops. Students receive learning materials and access to online classes through donated devices, helping them gain confidence and skills for academic and career advancement.

Youth Sports Sponsorship

We sponsor children in Japan so they can join sports teams and grow through athletic participation. Support includes team fees, gear, travel to tournaments, health checkups, and leadership training. Recognizing young athletes helps boost self-esteem and builds strong foundations for future success.

Emergency Relief Support

We help with quick responses to disasters in the US and Japan by distributing food, water, and medical supplies. This could cover temporary shelter, emergency lighting, and transportation for displaced individuals. We also supply volunteers and support crisis centers with clothing, hygiene kits, and other essentials.
